Build
I'm new to v8's and I started a project with my g35, I picked up a lq4 with 110k on it and a bw s475 turbo. I want to get some feedback on what pistons and rods I should go with, I'm using the stock heads for the build.
I'm looking for a build th400, and since the S475 is t6 with 1.32 a/r I was wondering if the Tu2 cam is ideal or should I go bigger?

What kind of power goals do you have? How about budget? You could get away with just a rod bolt upgrade, new bearings, rings, etc. Cam wise there is so many choices! Just pick one out to suit your needs. Some guys are making decent power with the ls6 cam, (budget oriented) Or you could have a custom cam spec'd out from one of the sponsors.

Oh, it will fit, along with a 12 point and 9" rear .

I'm not on there but a buddy of mine is and I went to one of the Dead Hookers events with him.
You might know another buddy of mine if you're in the Z club up there, he had a black 350Z with rims, exhaust, and a front lip.

Got the block on ebay, it came from detroit. The blocks going to get torn down and brought to the machine shop, where it will be put in a bath for a few days then painted, it will look brand new after.

Ah, Michigan, that explains the rust!! I was in Michigan last summer memorial day weekend, and couldn't believe how rusty everything is there!! 12 year old pickups totally shot!! I guess that's what salted roads will do for you!! Cool build man, that aught to **** off some ricers!!
