-8 hose for breather tank?????
-8 hose for breather tank????? What hose is best for a breather setup from the valve covers? Im using two factory driver covers with -an fittings welded in them. The breather tank has 3/8 npt ports. Would -10 be overkill for those ports or would -10 be the best to use?
I have a -10 on each side plus the little stock one and I still blew my dipstick out a couple passes at the end of the season. Could be a bit too much blowby on my car but I would still run -10s.
Too many variables to say XX amonut of boost needs an XX size line. Thats why I say run a -10. No need to save $50 measly bucks and undersize it.....only needing to replace it the next year as you add HP.
Good point... HP is like a drug. Im gonna do the -10 and be done!
I agree with the -10 but don't believe the 3/8" NPT fittings will support a -10. There will be a stepdown in the NPT/AN adapter that will effectively make the -10 a -8.
So you either need a different breather tank or I would go with two separate -8 lines. Otherwise you are wasting your money on -10 fittings and hose while still dealing with a -8-sized hole.

Is it enaugh with just a breather tank? I ment i read that i needed some kind of vacuum. Even when im in boost.
