Default Turbo Experts: T72 question

I picked up a Turbonetics T72 from a friend that needs a rebuild. The problem isnt the rebuild itself as I have a reputable local establishment that can handle this. My gentle blown trubo has a .68 a/r exaust housing. I know this should spool like a **** but I am concerned that this may choke up top. I am only looking for 5-10psi and about 500whp from a stock LS1. Will this meet my goals or should I look into a ne exaust housing?

You may get away with it on a rearmount, but way to small for a engine bay mounted turbo.

Im looking at front mount and wanted a .96 a/r so I guess I should find a new exhaust housing then. This turbo was originally on a series II 3.8
