LOL! Dude, I feel your pain. I ended up hacking off one side of the v-band flange, welding in straight pipe and joining the two halves of the downpipe together with a 3" band clamp. Got the downpipe on, haven't done the rest of the exhaust but it seems to be alright. Might be a good last resort before you go for the frontal dumpage...believe me, I seriously debated that as well.

I run that kit and notched my frame rail to run a 3 1/2 inch Dp. It dumps infront of the tire and it not as loud as my H/c true duals car.

Downpipe is cut, going to get a belt tomorrow and see how she sounds. I managed to lose/throw away the throttle/cruise cable bracket somewhere. lol

I blew my PS pump lol, no vid. Sounds pretty much exactly the same as when I was dumping it at k member. I have a vid in my build thread of that though.
