Inside frame rail to inside frame rail
F body = 30.25"
Fox Mustang = 32.5"

These headers in a F-body had roughly 2-2.5" clearance from the frame rails. The steering shaft is what was in question. I figure eighter way a custom shaft will be your best bet.

Now with that being said. The pic below gives you a good idea what you are working with space wise. These headers hugged the block., but worked with stock motor mounts.

I have a 01 silverado and the down and forward fit so the up and forward should easily fit.
