Default Old Story - Single or twin for me?

Howdy,
Building a Skyline R33 - ls1, truck manifolds, aftermarket heads, pistons and rods. T56 being used for street / drift / track / drag.

Aiming for ~700 rwhp on pump gas, most of the time i'll have the boost turned down. Not a "high dollar" build by any means. Looking at turbos, am tempted to go with a TC76. I've got room for twins - is there any reason to go with twins, other than it looks cool? What about using 2 smaller internally waste gated turbos for simplicity? Hopeing to order parts next week.

thanks for the advice,
James

I think twin tc76 would be real laggy on that 347, Twin 57 would reach your goals and 67 trims will also. side note where did u get a skyline from???

Oh and if you plan on going big ci in the future 67mm will support a 408

with a stick and road racing the 2 small turbos will be more responsive.

I think he meant single tc76 or smaller internal waste gated twins. I vote single unless you are looking for 1000+hp and can't package a t6 single. I would stay away from internal gates. you will need to set boost controller so it starts opening early and slow to control boost spikes.

id just do a single 76mm for your goals, twins are nice but you wont need them for what u wanna do, and their much more expensive!

On a side note, is this going to still be all wheel drive?

I would run small twins.. and push them to the max when you want for some more power..

RWD drift car I'm sure. I think it was for sale as a roller.
