looking to S/C, would like some info please

Default looking to S/C, would like some info please

i'm new here but not to the fbody scene. i have a 98 camaro that i plan on building a forged motor and installing this supercharger kit. my questions are should i run the stock pulley instead of a SLP pulley i have? i was looking into this cam "TR Blower" - 214/230 .601/.579 117 LSA, it's bigger than the lingenfelter cam alot of people run i've seen and heard of, anyone running this cam on their set-up and if not what cam should i be looking at? i have a set of stock 853's (other than the money into the engine, arp bolts and the blower it's going to be a budget build) would a set of stock 243's be my best bang for buck? i have lt's through a cat back and was wondering if i should keep the cat-back with the blower or go true duals and free that restrictive exhaust. car is my DD for now but once i get a beater it'll be my weekend fun car, it'll see the track 4-6 times a year but other than that i drive the thing on the streets so i'll be running street tires and keep my stock gears, on that note what stall would you recommend? 3000 or 3200 and i'll be running 8-10 PSI also and i'm hoping to hit 500-550RWHP

engine will be forged 347 with a callies crank and flat-top pistons, heads will be 243 heads (not sure what they'll beported to just yet) exhaust will be LT's !cats! 3" true duals and the blower wont be a magnacharger, it'll be the harrop HTV 2300 supercharger. now i just need to figure out which cam i'm goin to run. i have a 2227/224 sitting in the old engine and am wondering how that would work with the blower . . . anyone ever tried that or not?

Have you figured up what your compression ration would be using flat top pistons?

it should be close to stock but then again i wont know fully until i know exactly what will happen with these heads. the twin screw and roots style set-ups i've seen run stock compression, goin to 317 heads and dish top pistons was my first thought but after talk with a few former sponsors and even a tech at magnuson it was decided to stay around the stock compression neighborhood
