1 5/8 primaries with supercharger
1 5/8 primaries with supercharger im in the middle of a ls1 swap and purchased some long tube headers made specific for my application. they are doug thorleys 3/8 flange with 1 5/8 primaries into 3 in collectors. will they be good enough for forced induction? or should i try to sell them and do a single turbo with truck manifolds. gonna run 6-8 psi either way stock bottom end with a mild blower cam. thanks
They would be OK for your boost levels, but would start limiting you if you expect to turn up the boost later. If it were me, knowing that I like to plan for growth, I'd start out with 1 7/8" unless you really mean to keep to 6-8psi max. If you do, then I'd go 1 3/4".
