cam help with my lt1!

Default cam help with my lt1!

ok im thinkin bout changing my cam, right now its 570 610 236/244 on a 112, and done good so far, but now im upgrading some stuff and lookin to see if there is anything to gain by switching? im stayin hyd roller and still have a stock comp so 7k rpm will be about the limit! not sure if or how lt's and diff than ls's!

It sounds fine for the range you are talking about. What are you changing?

im goin from a ported stock head that flowed about 290 to a ported afr 220 that flows 330ish. and goin from a stock lt1 intake to a heavily ported lt4. goin to race gas, A2W, and more boost!

this is for a turbo car right? your cam sounds similar to a blower cam but i think people run good numbers on turbos with them also. call cam motion and see what they recommend. i would bump up the intake lift on it a little though. sound like a good set of heads you are upgrading to. maybe more will chime in.

ya its a lpe blower cam, done very good so far. just seeing if there is anything more to gain since im putting on better flowing heads.

who at cam motion should i ask for?

Cam Motion will undoubtably recommend a reverse-split cam that will undoubtably make less power than the one you have.

Did you mention what turbo you're running?

i got them from big purple on here, not sure who did them, i think thunder racing.

umm, not sure. right now a s475, but bout to upgrade it to a 88mm wheel!
