Down pipe suggestions

Down pipe suggestions Hi, i'm currently in the process of getting everything together for my hot side fabrication and was wondering, when is a 5" down pipe necessary? I'm looking to make around 1000-1100 hp at the flywheel. Also, I am running a bmr turbo k-member and was planning on using a motor plate with the down pipe routed along the passenger side of the block. Does any one have any pics of a similar set-up? I'm sure i would have to notch/round off the motor plate on that side toward the bottom but was just curious how other people are making it happen. I don't want to have to clearance to much so that it looses strength. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks for the input.
