Default pinned crank

I did a search and it did not really answer my question about pinning the crank, I have a d1 with a 6 rib set up, I have 3 dowl pins that go through the blower crank pulley to the 3 ridges on the factory crank pulley. Does that mean my crank is pinned or do I need to do something different? Just trying to get everything double checked before the car goes to the dyno.

no to pin the crank you actually have a pin that goes in between the pulley and the crank snout to keep the pulley from spinning on the crank

If your using the stock crank pulley you need to get a crank pinning kit similar to the one that comes with the magnacharger kits. It has a fixture that bolts to the front and you drill into part of the crank and part of the stock pulley. Then you insert the pin so the pulley cant spin off the crank

Just bought a pinning kit for a 6-rib setup from Byunspeed for $99. Just FYI.
