Default YSI or 80m turbo

well to make the storey short , my shoppen is done for my motor. I still cant decide what to use a YSI or a 80m turbo. I was gonna build a turbo kit but don't know if The ysi will give me some what the same performance . Here the motor I have G5xb cam mast motorsport's l92 heads ,9-1 cr luntai rods and 4" crank . the car will be be driven 2 or 3 days a weak . and probably see the track 2 times a week. the car allso has a 6 speed and a 125 shot in it. I was looken for 650 to 750 at the tire . Witch one shod i use

either will give you more power than that with no spray! i have a turbo ltx car and a procharged lsx car and love them both but they are different feels! since urs is a 6 speed its prolly b faster with the supercharger, but turbo cars are a blast to drive! i have more problems with traction in my blower car tho cause the boost hitts so fast/hard. but the turbo pulls harder up top. man id recommend tring to find some people around you that have both, and see what you like! super charger would prolly be easier tho, assuming you are doin the install.

What kind of motor? ls1, 2,3,6,7?

Here we have a Trans Am,
404 lq9 block stroked
l92 heads ported
ls3 intake and throttle body
TSP 1 7/8 longtubes, true duals.

Motor has a YSI at 12 psi with a 6 speed
dual disk clutch, 12 bolt with 3.73s

Put down 723 HP, couldnt get a torque reading.

So it will be easily reached with the blower. Same car put down 916hp on a 150 shot at 800psi bottle pressure.

Were going to pulley it down to get 15 psi so we can get hopefully 800hp on boost only and 1000hp on a 150 or 200 shot.

Car drives excellent all around, customer is very happy. The shop owner has his car built this way.

SS camaro

347 LS6 block
ported 241's
ls6 intake
YSI blower 16 psi
Pacesetter headers
borla catback
12 bolt 3.73s
6 speed spec 4+
NX 150 shot MAF kit

Car puts down 756HP and 730TQ on boost only puts down 969HP and 932TQ on a 150 shot.

A turbo will be a bit more efficient and be excellent on all your stuff. But I have personally seen and helped with these two vehicles, hope this helps.
