Default Piston-Wall Clearance for boost, is .006" ok?

On my setup there will be just a little bit below .006" piston to wall clearance with my forged Wiseco pistons to a 4.005" hone. Will this be alright, or will piston slap be annoying/a problem? Keep in mind, I purchased the block already honed and then found a great deal on a set of pistons. Will be a 403ci setup. Wiseco recommends .0045 to .005 piston-wall clearance on forged pistons with boost. I will eventually be running about 13 psi of boost after about 5k miles when I have the money. Thanks guys! Oh, while I'm at a new thread here what piston rings should I go with? A sponsor recommended the Wiseco nitrided rings but I don't believe they sell them in the 1/16, 1/16, 3mm ring size which is what I need. So I'm thinking Hellfires or Total Seal APs?

Thanks!

It would be okay, and would make alittle noise. The solution is have the pistons coated. I ve done it a few times, esspecially with a turbo set up. Less heat into the crown, = less chance of detonation. I get piston coat on the crown and the standard skirt film. The skirt film is ussually about .0015

I ve known of .010 on big nitrous cars.

thanks for the input. I've kinda ran short on cash for my budget so I'm either not going to get these pistons coated and run them or I'm not going to go 403ci stroker and end up with a 365ci with a selection of pistons. hmmm

true but for some reason I don't think it's going to be that big of a deal running .001 to .0015 bigger than recommended clearance. aren't factory shortblock setups from GM like .009 ?

You probably will pick up noise, but should still work well.
