Default Supercharger or 80 mm turbo

Well ok , Time has come to decide on force induction. The motor is cast iron 408 with g5xb cam mastmotorsport L92 heads 92mm throttle body intake, with a 100mm lingerfilter mass air with 72lb injector, and will have a hit of nitrous. The bottom end has lunati h3's with lunati 4" crank and wisco forged pistons. The car will be driven 3 to 4 times a week ,and see the track 2 or 3 times a week . I was looking for 650 to 750 at the wheel. SO shod i go turbo or supercharger and witch one is easier on the motor, and if supercharger vortech or ATI :b ang:

408 with spray and FI and you are only wanting 650-750.....?

If that is all the power you want, a procharger could get it done and be hassle free.

A turbo is capable of much more power if you want to upgrade later.

a D1sc or a 80mm turbo will both get you to your goals, BUT, the boost bug will dig into your brain like some kind of medevil worm.

is this a drag car or autoX? stick or auto? stick/autocross=blower, auto/drag=turbo. do you have goal numbers other than dyno?

ATI procharger D1SC is a symple kit to install. There is little to no guess work involved. But you will make more power then you stated you want. The F1 is over kill for what you said you wanted. I personaly love turbos but they can be a beatch to work out.

80mm, truck kit. All the power potential you'll ever need. You WILL eventually get tired of "just 650hp"

I would think that you would have trouble not hitting 650. I would go F1 but I am a little biased. What kind of gear are you running? That might help you decide. I believe a turbo car would benefit more from a higher gear (lower numerical) and a procharger would be opposite.
