You posted a pic of the damage, questioned the diagnosis, and thought noone would comment? Modular Turbo is REALLY taking care of you because that is the turbo kit's/user's fault. I'll leave your thread alone now.

I kind of wish APS would do the same with me. Hell I wish I would even get a phone call or e-mail back. Kudos Rob@ Modular.

I treat my customers like family because THEY ARE!!!!!!!

You guys put food on my table, clothe my kids, and put race gas in my racecar you know I'm gonna respect that!!!!!

Modular Turbo customers will always experience a level of customer service that they have either never had or rarely had.

That's how we roll

XtremeDime thanks for the props bro, you rock. I told him that I would never leave him hanging and I follow through with my promises.

Props to Masterpower as well for rebuilding his turbo for free even though it wasn't their fault.

I always go to bat with manufacturers to make my customers whole again.

FYI Modular Twin F body kit coming soon......

let me put a little biased clarity on this procedure. rob at modular is the man. more than you may know. in my business(music) when some thing fails like this the first thing the manufacturer does is deny the claim. second thing is end user throws a fit of some sort. thirdly ,rob, decides how much effort/money he is willing to put into strongarming /sweettalking the manufacturer into making this right. this last decision is where we as the buyer need to be patient and polite in order to have the best return service possible. sometimes the relationship between the builder and retailer is strong and other times the retailer eats a big pile of crap in order to keep us happy. whichever way it is. rob is doing it right. he has hooked me up and given more than i asked for. i have a similar relationship with my customers and the feeling of pride makes it worth those big piles of crap .so thanks for every thing rob and keep it up, you'll never go hungry.

Its possible. I had a master welder look at the piping when he did some additional welding for me and he didnt see anything that would have been an issue. For the $125 an hour I paid him for the extra welding, he better have been right. lol

^^^yea but i bet he did not actually look at the welds from the inside of the piping

sometimes when people weld they leave behind small droplets of weld on the inside of the pipe, especially if the blow threw the pipe and then try to fill it. and those droplets come of after a while

my old ls1 motorsports turbo kit was a nightmare, i spent 2 hours cleaning up all the **** inside the piping with a foot long carbide bit before installing it on my car

Thats exatly right! The tigher the pipe gaps are the beter off the inside of the welds will be. Another thing is alot of people do not purge the inside of stainless which may cause problems. It will leave behind a ruff surface inside the pipes.

Props to rob for taking care of business!
