Does an exhaust crossover matter under boost?
I'm going to go true duals once I get my car boosted. I'd like to keep it simple and go straight back from the headers and over the axle. I understand most people use an X or Y pipe for backpressure/scavenging. How much HP will I lose not having a crossover. It'll be so much easier/cleaner not running one, but if its going to hurt numbers too much, I'll figure a way to run an Xpipe.
Thanks!
Thanks!

A crossover or x-pipe needs exhaust pulses to scavenge effectively. Downstream of the turbo, the exhaust pulses are pretty much "chopped up" by the turbine wheel, there are no realistically no pulses left. There is no gain to running an x-pipe post-turbo. Just make it smooth and free-flowing and you should be good.

X pipe should be fine.
