running fast on a little tire isnt what alot of the Ls1tech community are into. It's hard as hell, and takes time. For most of the crowd, it's stuff as much tire under it as you can and as much power. Alot of those cars are still street cars, so they aren't set weight bias correctly and can't transfer the weight like they need to in order to run a small tire.
If i can go 8's in the 1/4 on a 275, i'd be PUMPED. In reality, a 8.99 wouldnt even get you into a field at a x275 1/8 mile race though, haha.

No DOUBT man, haha. That car makes tons of power and is definately hooking!
I think the poster was asking about a single though. Problem is every class legal racing is so scared of turbo's, I'm already strongly thinking of dismantling mine and going over to the.....gasp.....supercharged crowd. I think i can make plenty of power out of a Vortech Xi to be competitive in a few series. I'm split between that or going to a very customized 75mm. I think i can get into more classes with a Xi though.

This car is owned by Chris (Sideways240sx), has been built by both of us, and was driven by me for the 9.878 pass so I dont know how you want to word the "username" spot.

This was the last run of the night after I finally figured out my fuse was blown on the trans brake. So I swapped the radio fuse over and it worked out for one last pass. I cut a decent 60' but still didn't beat my pb. Not bad for pulling her out of storage and running her again. A CTS V had just grenaded his tranny in the left lane so we had to finish out the night using the right lane only.
