Default do i need a fuel pressure regulator???

Okay I picked up a 2000 Turbo trans am with the motor already pulled. And i got to thinking does it need a fuuel pressure regulator for boost? And how do I hook it up? I know most Turbo car have a regulator that raises fuel pressure 1lb for every lb of boost. This car is supposed to have dual in tank pumps but has stock fuel lines into 60lb injectors.
So help me out here gurus

Watch your fuel pressure gauge (FI car better have fuel press gauge or your gambling big) when in boost, the pressure shoud maintain 56-58# or so and not drop more than 1-2 lbs. If it does drop then yes, you not only need a return style regulator (boost referanced) but I would run a dual intank 255 set-up and if needed, bigger feed linefrom the tank to the rails.

Depending on your power level, a boost referenced regulator can help.
It typically is not needed under 600rwhp & I would consider one mandatory above 700rwhp.

Presently you have a regulator in the fuel tank that controls pressure.
Using one under the hood requires removal of the intank reg & adding at minimum a front mount regulator & return line.

I offer a complete kit if you desire to upgrade your fuel system.
Feel free to call for more info.

Anyone have any part numbers for a good front mount regulator to use on the return line (-6 fitings)?
