Default spacing procharger pulley

Has anyone had to space their head unit pulley to get it to line up with the crank pulley? While on the dyno we realized my pulleys were mis aligned by a little under a 1/4" so I had a washer made at work but I am concerned with the pulley not sitting all the way on the head unit shaft that this will put stress on the shaft and lead to some kind of internal failure in the head unit. Has anyone had to do this before?

I had to add a washer inbetween the stand off nuts and the J bracket, and another washer inbetween the alt and the stand off nuts. So I pushed the head unit about a 1/4" closer to the radiator. My blower belt was comming off the crank pully about 2 ribs.

see I need to put the blower pulley closer to the motor, the only issue I had was on the dyno when really ripping on it, but the crank bolt came loose and that was some of the belt issue I just don't want to mess up the head unit...

So your blower belt is moving into the the serpentine belt? You could take the stand off nuts and cut them down and run a tap in to the threads to clean them up. If you dont think you can cut them your self take them to a machine shop and have them mill off what you need.

Done it. And as a matter of fact Pro Charger sells the shims to do it as well. Shimmed mine about .150" no real issues here so far.
