Default researching going from N/A TO SC...

i have a stock bottom end stock heads 2000 LS1 M6 with a texas speed MSv3 at .605/.610 lift and 242 duration...full exhaust, full intake/manifold and clutch and rear that can handle whatever i throw at it. im planning stage 3 LS6 heads and rollers...and then a supercharger. to make the most of my setup on a stock bottom end, would it be worth the effort to buy a blower cam and run low boost or run the magic stick with low boost? either way running 5-7 lbs intercooled with a cog pulley setup. thanks for the input!

Upgrading the rod bolts would be a good idea. I assume the MSv3 is on a 112 LSA. Not the most ideal, but it should still work. For a 346, I would suggest a 02 ZO6 cam. You can find them pretty cheap used and they make real good power. When you swap the heads, upgrade to ARP studs. They cost about $150ish more than GM bolts, but well worth it. Have you looked at your fuel system? That is definitely another srea that will need some attention.

stock fuel pump and injectors so far...would the added flow of the stage 3 heads make the magic stick more user friendly to a blower? trying to see if its necessary to redo the cam. and your correct 112 LSA

The issue with the cam is the LSA and durations( 237I/242E), there will be a lot of valve overlap. The car will be push some boost right out the between the completion of the exhaust stroke and starting of the intake stoke. Like I said before, many people have used this type of setup to make a some OK power, but it is not idea.

The flow of the heads do not play as important role in FI applications as in NA applications. The cfm flow of the power adder greatly overtakes/overwhelms the flow efficiency of the heads.
