powerdyne S/C
powerdyne S/C i have a powerdyne BD 11A that is just laying around was wondering if it's worth messing with anymore. or are they pretty obsolete. i have most of the kit but no intercooler will need to order a new belt. not really sure if i have all the pipe or not. is it worth messing with what do you think?
I guess I am about the only one here who will admit running a powerdyne. I had one on a F-Body for a couple of years. You can reliably make 5 psi of boost. They do not move as much air as the Procharger or Vortech. You can swap head units for a Powerdyne scorpion which is very similar to a Vortech. You should pick up 60-80 rear wheel HP with the BD11a. Don't bother with a intercooler. Just add a meth injection system. Here is a link to a install log with pictures. The manual for an F-body install is included.
