Default Lingenfelter 2 step?

I just got a lingenfelter 2 step... I have the 2.5bar gm map sensor. Will this sensor work with my lingenfelter??? or do I have to have the 3 bar sensor??

2 step and MAP sensor have nothing to do with each other. MAP sensor is for fueling. 2 step is on the ignition side and just plugs in between the coil packs and the harness.

Well the 2 step I have pulls timing based on boost so it hooks into the map sensor... in the lingenfelter manual says to hook to 3 bar so just wondering if my 2.5 will work

Which one is that? Mine pulls timing but it's not vs boost. It just pulls or adds a fixed amount once activated.

If that is the case, the 2.5 will work but it will be a little off. So it will be reporting 30ish psi to the 2 step at 21-22 psi.

Cool. That's the same one that I have but I dont think mine has that feature. I dont even use the timing feature at all though. I do all that thru the PCM.

Advantage of using the timing by boost function on the lnc 002 is it can act as antilag and let you hit more boost on a six speed car then just the two step can. Not needed really on auto car. Also you can have way more timing off boost ,you can do this in ecu but not as precisely and you can't do antilag in ecu.
