1000 crank shouldn't be to tough with the added cubes. I'm pushing over 900 at the crank and i'm only 348 cu in
(last dyno was 820RWHP) anyways id go with the lq4, since for one your using the Iron block (lq4) and they flow a little better compared to the 5.7 head plus the increased chamber size would be good.

I'm guessing the bore is open to 4.030 or more to get to 422 cu in, so what ever heads you end up with should have the chamber diameter opened up to match. Truck heads start at 4.000" so you're closer. LS1/6 heads are 3.9" so they will need more work.
