Having said that I totally understand how bad water can just ruin everything. I'm sincerly sorry y'all have had to go through all this. I'm assuming y'all will be relocating to some higher ground. Its unfortunate that these kinds of things happen. I hope this is the last time. Good luck and God bless.
As bad as it was for us, we kept telling ourselves, "it's not nearly as bad as Katrina was...it could've been worse..." and at least we were able to go home and sleep in our beds...our basement took on a little water, but we still had the main part of our house nice and dry.

We are moving because it has taken a huge toll on us for the five years we've been here.

How about you? Sounds like you were impacted on some level from Katrina. Hopefully you've been able to recover on some level.

Hey Stranger!

How's that handsome little man of yours doing?! And your car?

We appreciate everyone's concern. You guys are all a great group of people!

We are on the road to recovery, but it's taking way longer than we'd like! We have about 15 new products that were supposed to be released this spring/summer, but we had to push the release dates back. We also lost several of the prototypes and blueprints in the flood so we have to redo them.

We're not going anywhere just yet....we just need to make it over this huge speed bump!

At least ya'll are still in business. Me and my business partner were buying a shop right when Katrina hit. We lost both of our houses, 5 feet in mine and 7 feet in his, he was stuck in Dallas and had nowhere to come back to. I was living in a FEMA trailer but it took 4 months for them to deliver it so I got it in Dec. at least I had a place to lay my head.

The guy who was selling us the shop backed out on us because of 2 reasons he could get more money for it beacuse it didn't flood where the shop is and he could stay at the shop since it had an apartment on top of it because his house flooded. Also, we were in no shape to buy it after the storm with both of houses we had to put back together.

I'm just glad to see ya'll pushing through this and keeping your business up and running. I'm truly sorry for anything you lost in the flood because I know of some prized possessions I lost in Katrina (1987 Buick T-type)

If you guys are overly occupied because of recent events, you guys should consider hiring a temp to answer phones and return calls. I've called three times this week.
