Turbo Cam?
Turbo Cam? Need a good idea on what cams you guys are running? Looking for recommendations for a 346, 364, and a 408 ci setup. I was looking at the Speed Inc cams and really thinking about going with one of their cams....what do you guys think?
i asked the same ? on yellowbullet and everyone said virginia speed. they can custom make one or you can buy one of there 5 pre spec grinds

So you dont know what you are building but you want us to pick a cam for it? You need to pick your turbo or your cubes and build around it. Once you have turbo, cubes, intake and heads picked out, then you spec a cam.
First build is going to be a stout 346, 241 heads hogged out, a Super Victor and a 92mm tb, with a GT76 through a th400.....while that setup is together I will be putting together an iron block of either stock displacement of turn it into a 408. I was basically trying to gauge a cam for both setup's that will most likely work with both setups. The bigger motor will of course be getting a bigger turbo and a 265cc head combo to boot. I am open to suggestions and just want to know whats available. Not trying to have somebody else put my setup together just checking my options. Also any recommendations on what stall size to match up with the 346?
dave..... the 346 vrs. the 408 w/ 265cc heads are 2 different animals.
the cam for the 408 will need to be quite different in specs due to that you'll need a cam that'll fill its cylinders.

I went with the SpeedInc TU2, my motor isnt finished so I cant tell ya how it works lol. Its a big turbo cam but im aiming for the 800whp range.
