What block are turbo users using?
A joke
LS2 alum blocks are good for beyond that. With high HP setups 1000rwhp+ over time the cylinder bores can crack. I believe Mike Brown had this happen to him. He went low 8's with stock alum LS2 block/crank and good rods/pistons, out of the box AFR225 heads! Most resleeve at this point if a sleeve cracks or simply get another block which is cheaper....
6.0 iron block is structurally stronger and cylinder walls aren't prone to moving/cracking. Weight penalty of 80lbs though.
At around the 1000rwhp mark is when the stock 4 bolt head gasket design can't really keep a seal and will either push water or fail with all 4 bolt design blocks. Double O-ring seems to be the choice at this point to keep it together.
1000rwhp is going to make any car seriously scoot. If you need more be prepared to dig deep into your pocket continually because stuff fails or the quality stuff that doesn't fail is big $$$$'s.
