Venting ATI I'm sure everyone else has had the same problem with the vent hose from the front of the valve cover(passenger side) sucking oil into the charger.My question is, is it safe just to unhook it from in front of the charger(inlet hat) and just vent it to the atmosphere.Thanks for the help.
You can do it, but it is better off for the motor to have a vacuum in the crank case (ring life, burning oil etc...). And if you want to split hairs about it, it may cost you a couple (2-3) HP.
Try running an air/oil separator. I run an aircraft air/oil centripital separator. It works good. Others have run catch cans and such with good luck.
