Question ? about a turbo...no idea...

I came a across a Holset H1E turbocharger the other night for a good price. It has a fresh rebuild on it and has 0 miles on it. Any one know how that would do with a decent boost set up? I have no idea on the power range or if this is even a good turbo to start with. Not wanting a million horse power just somewhere maybe around 7XX range. Thanks to who ever knows.

^^^i think thats backwards bud, the Inducer wheel is always bigger than the exhaust turbine, just like intake valves are always bigger than exhaust valves.

But that also sounds fishy, mine has a 76mm compressor and 68mm exhaust, you would have a bigger compressor with a smaller exhasut and that dont make sense. Get all info you can off the turbo and post it up

Was looking online and looking at some diagrams. the First number is the inlet(inducer) size of the compressor wheel and the second number is the edge (exducer) of compressor wheel. I have been looking online for about an hour and have came up with nothing. Went to Holset's website put in all the numbers on the turbo and i get nothing back. the plate on the turbo reads Assy.-3528789, Serial-c01805558, Model-H1E. If anyone has someone that knows anything about these turbos the insite and help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks
