thinking of the right blower for my 2010 ss Alright I'm wondering which type of supercharger to go with. I want a positive displacement blower so that leaves me with the tvs2300, the whipple, the kenne bell(not sure yet), and the ls9 blower. I think the ls9 blower would be cool to do just not real sure what all I need. Does anyone have any ideas?
Do any of these mfg's publish boost level to discharge temp graphs? I'd think it'd be real helpful. I looked at the Whipple sandrail LS1 kit with its tall manifold and intercooler and compared that to kenne bell's 2.8 vette kit, magnussons low profile TVS 2300 unit, and whipples new 2010 camaro 3.3 kit. Makes me wonder how much boost the short coolers can effectively handle...especially with some of the negative posts about the KB LS1 kits from the vetter guys. Anyway, I think that would be my main concern, picking the supercharger that will be good for more then a 1/4 mile run without developing bad heat soak.
