why not?
as long use 4.00+ bore gaskets will be alright. and scr will be in the mid 8s depend on amount milled from heads abd gaskets used.
my 4.8 is equipped with 317 heads milled .005 and ls9 head gaskets and studs. and i plan on up to 15+ psi on pump gas without meth. and fmic

Yes thats correct. 317s and 243s are the same except diff chamber sizes. They do flow slightly better than 241s but Im not sure how much of a diff itd make on an FI engine.

the 243,799 and 317 all use same intake and exhaust ports, same size intake and exhaust diamater valves. chambers are different and 317 has larger volume chamber

so i... was made an offer I couldn't refuse on a set of stock 317 heads, so.... now I'm trying to decide if I need/want a 2 step, more gear (thinkin 4.11), or a small shot of the "juice"..... The Juice/2 step would be an aid at the track, but I think the 4.11 would help a bit around town....

opinions and insults welcome

t3?
are u worried about lag?
i was originally gonna go with t4 t88. but ive began constructing tt manifolds for my car. i really want to use mpt60 t4's with 3in dp.
im not worried about lag with those turbos. but i may end up going with t3 version. still debating.
