So Im thinking 10psi will be about the limit for a stock shortblock so Im looking at cams to get a little more power out of it. Im currently running ls6 yellows and hardened pushrods w/stock cam. Id like to keep the valve springs as is, but if the gains are worth going with a bigger cam Ill consider it. I know Im looking for a cam with an even split, or one slightly favoring the exhaust side but I dont really know of many cams aside from the EPP blower cam, which is ******* nasty!
Can you guys tell me some cams to look for as well as what gains I can expect? Also any valvetrain parts I would need to get to accomadate for it.

224/224, 228/228 just to name two popular ones
Speed inc has the tu0, tu1, tu2, etc
Shawn @ virginia speed can help you as well
Vengence Racing could spec you one, your cam options are limitless

im using a stock 5.3 with stock heads, and a T76 in a mustang. I had Pat G spec me out a cam ..
222/226 .599"/.598" 116+4 ..
I havent run the motor yet, but i would honestly get a cam spec'd out for you. I paid 400 bucks, so its not like its that more expensive.

Ya I was going to email him or call him. Im just trying to find a decent cam that will match stock 317s and an ls6 intake manifold. The ls9 looks awesome but it makes its power awfully high.
