Default Custom cam for 408 76mm Turbo build

Does this cam sound reasonable for my build? I sent off a request to comp cams and this is the cam they spec'd out.

3500 lb car

Is that a T4 flange turbo? If so I would sell it and buy a T6. Also a 88mm would be much better suited to a 400+ci motor. Everything else looks great!

Pretty small turbo for 15psi on those cubes...20 forget it.....it will spool good...Is that a 76 GTS turbo rated for 1100, or is it like most 76's rated for 800-900 flywheel? The cam looks good. Actually, it looks like a rip off of a Virginia Speed grind...ICl is not listed but I bet it's somewhere in the 110 area....

It is the 76 GTS turbo rated at 1100 HP. I realize I will never get there, but I wanted a fast spooling turbo. I'm not going for any records here, just want a fun toy! Hopefully I can get close to my power goals and I will be happy.

GTS 76 is T4 or T6 flange? A T6 would help on those cubes with back pressure...(especialy the cam selection your looking at). If your using t4 and depending on manifold choice then even a reverse split might be in order.....

When you put some timing in the right spot and get the mixtures correct...hell yeah, that will spool...probably out of breath by 6200rpm...

It is a T4 flange. I don't plan on spinning it much past 6500 rpm, but when the turbo gets choked will the motor fall on it's face or just stop building boost? I'm fairly new to turbos and just don't know what to expect.
Thanks
Jeff

That thing will be a torque monster.

When you max out the turbo, you just wont make anymore power. Keep in mind that it will make the charge very hot which leads to detonation and ultimately failure.
