Default Higher Compression 408 FI...

Hey guys, I have been been fumbling the idea of putting a turbine/s on my 408 which I had built for a nitrous build. I should be running into the 11-1 CR barrier in theory right now with my current setup and plan on lowering that a little for sure. Engine is setup as follows:

Iron 408 -2cc Wiseco
Compstar rods and Dragonslayer crank
ARP bolts everywhere
MS3 (114 LSA)
PRC 2.5 5.3 heads undecked (should be 61-62cc)
.045 MLS Head Gaskets
(^this setup doesn't detonate at all on 90 octane suprisingly???)

I would be planning a head(TFS 235 72cc)/cam (custom)/gasket (.055-.065) swap to get me back down into the 10's which should be easy. Just how far in the 10's is where I don't know. I am not planning on massive amounts of boost but down the road a little doing a piston swap. I know the pros of it would be instant spool for sure, but con would be that I won't be able to use more than 5-8 safely psi I am thinking honestly (10-12 pushing with a little race gas). Single setup would be a 76mm and if I go twin staggered 67 and 70/76 I'm thinking. I have a good understanding of turbos but figured some of you guys will know better than me on this subject. I appreciate any input.

I know building a new motor would be appropriate, but can't afford to throw another $4500-5000 on another shortblock with the cost of doing this. For now atleast.

Turbo gurus, does this sound about right. Or should I back away from the idea because it would be running the motor to hard? Or atleast not the way the motor was intended?

We did an N/A 11.0/1 build for a customer many years ago at the old shop, who never shifted above 5000 rpm, so he wanted maximum torque. The next year he wanted us to install an APS twin turbo kit on it. We did, and added methanol injection and it worked out surprisingly well. Bob
