Cam for rearmount LT1
Ok I have an LT1 in a Buick Roadmaster with a rearmount. It does ok I will make some changes and here is what I have planned.
Manual 4L80E (I will lose lockup I am told with manual valve body) will likely go with a Vigilante 3600 car has 2.98 gears. I will change to a custom cam thinking ~9.2:1 CR changing to Aluminum heads (already own them)
Delta cams has profiles of 224 .560, 222 .540, 220 .530, 218 .545, 216 .545, and 215 .545
The car has manifolds and I think I will go with 220/215 with 114 or 115 (whatever is the highest they can grind on my core). I am trying the reverse split based on manifolds and Garrett recommendations for such a setup. I will likely run ~15 psi and it has intercooler and meth injection. IAT are ~ambient since it has two stage with dual M7's.
I already have all parts so little cost other than the cam. The turbo is an MP76 with a .96 turbine. The transmission and convertor will go in another car that I plan to build later so combination probably is far from what I should do for a 4400 pound car. A friend helped design a rearmount for the Buick in 2007 and I like making changes and seeing what I can get it to do.
I would guess my goal is close to 500 rwhp. With this duration cam it might be quite ambitious to get there but figured I needed a guess for the power goal
Thanks

Is a reverse split cam a terrible idea or good? I don't expect or want perfection but if I am off the mark I would rather hear it now than have to live with an obvious bad decision that others could have helped me prevent.
