Possible Boosted Optispark Failure???

Possible Boosted Optispark Failure??? Replaced my optispark like 300 miles ago with a Delphi Opti and the car ran fine. Well the other day I was driving the car and it started missing real bad. I noticed that the check valve in the vent line from the Intake to the Opti was stuck open so it was putting boosted pressure into the Opti. My question is, could this of harmed the Optispark? There is no check engine light but the car is running terrible. ANY THOUGHTS??
