i tried them. no luck on a turbo that would support a $@&. you will need at least a GT35R for that.

What if you cut the flange off the APS exhaust manifolds and weld on flanges you want...then you could use just about any standard turbo, no?

you cant weld cast iron with any reliability, and if you could, a turbo exhaust housing would be the absolute last place to try it.

be better off cutting the APS flanges off the exhaust pipes, get turbos with a real T4 housing and weld the matching T4 flange to the DP's. but hopefully Big Bird is doing you right and getting you fixed up (that sounds a little dirty if you read it out loud LMAO)

APS is still in business.

APS still has F-body kits for sale.

Minus the turbos the APS kit is the ****. lol. modulat turbo might be the only system to give it a run. this is why i am going to that set up.

but to answer the welding question. the T3 flange that is on the APS manifold will support 1300 horse. ( both of them, 650 each ) so why change it. all we need is the exhaust housings off the gt35r turbos then we have a whole new world ahead of us. becuase 90% of us will never need 1300 horse, hell not even 1000 horse. so i will keep everyone updated. and let you know how it all goes.

^^^to add to that, they have kits for sale still but Peter has said they are no longer producing more so they are simply selling off the remaining stock.

Please do Big_Bird_WS6 I haven't ordered my LG upgrades yet as I want to finish my engine build first and see what is out there as far as other options. I would like the ability to make 1000rwhp on my 427 just so I can experience it before I turn it down for normal street driving.

If I can't make it with my APS kit I guess it will be a Kentucky single turbo kit for the price as modular is an awesome looking kit just going to be too high for me after my engine build. I wanted to go all out on the engine so I would at least have a solid foundation to work with no matter my choice of boost provider.

Thanks for your continued effort to help advance the APS community.

the aps kit with 3t35s would be really nice. Like Big Bird said the kit is a super nice setup. Cast manifolds and a well designed intercooler makes the aps kit look like it was a factory part.

Update is. GT35rs are sitting here. just waiting for the exhuast housings. the tracking number is hard to use. ( they came from over seas) but if i understand it . i will see it next week. or it will be in the states next week. lol. idk.

but either way i should have 2 sets of APS gt35R turbos. one set is for sure sold.

( Mods i know i cant sell them. but there has to be somthing we can do. If sponsors dont want to Help us get the turbos we want. then what. it would be hard for one of us that can get them not to sell them. I wont sell anything till there is a conversation with a Mod. just saying . this is a Tech Forum. i know it has rules. But if no other sponsor sells it. am i crossing the Line to sell them? PM me so we can Figure this out and help out the Multipule APS LS1Tech members. Thanks D.) Again i WONT sell them so please no banning. that sucks.

PLEASE DONT PM ME TO TRY AND BUY THEM. i will not get kicked off. when i know what these things will cost i might become a sponsor. but for now. we are still in the learning stage. lol. SO PLEASE no more on how much. i am not a sponsor. so i cant sell stuff. sorry to sound like a dick. most of you should understand. i am here to help ls1tech and fellow APS guys. so i cant help if i get kicked.
