Default Which shortblock?

I am looking to do a simple street build. Large frame (read t6) s400 turbo blow-thru E85 carb setup.

I have 2 choices in for my shortblock and was wondering which would be better? Both shortblocks would be built for boost with all forged internals

stroked ls1 383 or 370 cube lq9/ls2?

Heads will be slightly worked 317's with appropriate valvetrain. Camshaft will be custom gound to suit my setup.

Car weighs 3200lbs, stock suspension, radial tire. STREET car lol

Coming from n/a motors, i like large bore, short stroke. I am just starting research on a turbo setup

Please tell me the advantages and disadvantages of both

TIA

Here is my take on these blocks. The LS1 has thin cylinder walls and that is not good under a lot of boost. I think the iron block is much better for this application. That being said, there are a ton of guys who make big power with the LS1 blocks.
