I believe that is the perfect LSx intake for boost, especially when considering price. Unfortunately, wont fit under the fbody hood without a big cowl and some cutting. Camaroandreas just ran a 7.47@175 with this intake if I remember his build thread correctly.

30,000 boosted miles on my FAST 90 last setup was 814rwhp @17psi... I did blow it to pieces with a Methanol backfire, though it was no fault of the intake... Now, for something different on my new setup, we're going with a billet wilson...

i will be running the pro flow on my turbo build, intake is on, had to cut the cowl and hood bracing, but it closes...one TINY little dimple, and this is without a ws6 hood, factory transam hood, I will post up my build in the next couple days. INTAKE BY FAR LOOKS THE SICKEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also glad to hear it works well with boost, wasnt sure when i got it, but the runners and large manifold seemed like it wold do well.

WOW you got that to fit under the factory hood. I have mine tucked under a sunoco style cowl hood.

Im running a holley/weiand intake..its all polished aluminum..heh,i'm shoving 15psi thru it .
It looks great on the engine but the there is a flaw...I've blown the access panel on the bottom of the intake off..screws have come loose..the thin sheet metal has bowed in between the screws..so i ditched that plate and used a plate made of S.S. and 1/8 thick.
Soi far no issues..I'll give another update after i get it on the dyno and abuse it.

What is a good carb intake/elbow setup that puts the throttle body close to the same location of where it would sit with say a FAST intake?

The only one is the Edelbrock low profile elbow but it is VERY restrictive. Other than that, you are looking at a full radius sheetmetal or cast elbow that requires cutting the cowl and sometimes a taller hood.

Good to hear!

I was mostly hoping that it would provide a more equal distribution between the cylinders but I have no way of being sure...

I have been toying with a mini "hot rod" wiper motor to run the d/s wiper. I have no way to mount the motor due to what I cut out to fit the intake.

The motor mounts on the drivers side, it should still be there unless you cut the whole cowl out? I just notched it, so I have to move the passenger side mount over, and shorten the brackets, should be fine, gonna take some getin used to, but will be well worth it. I have pictures up on my faceboook(i know, sounds gay) but I can't figure out how to post them over here. I have a buddy who knows computer ****, Im gonna have him try to put em up a little later.

This is an older picture I now have the intake filter coming out behind the grille. Also the a/c has been removed as well I just don't have any pictures yet

I don't have the money yet for the turbo. Need a rear over the winter first.

how do you aluminum intake guys keep your IAT's down? i know a guy with a naturally aspirated H/C/I camaro. he runs a bbk aluminum intake and that thing gets hot as hell. i would imagine that this problem would get worse with a FI motor. i understand the vic jr. is a different style intake but does it have heatsoak problems?

With the air filter the way it is in the picture it gets hot as hell.
Now I have it routed to the bumper and it runs a lot cooler. Plus the cowl helps too.
