Default curious setup....

Okay I have a 2002 WS6 with 79K miles, The mods I have no are ported heads running about 300cfm but stock valve ports so my compression is still 10:1 with a RAPTR cam from thunder racing 236/242 .615/.615 111LSA, 45lb injectors, TRE 255lph fuel pump with full bolt ons....Okay I know this is not a turbo setup more of a nitrous setup but i was curious as to how much boost i could run with a T67 if i was to build a kit for it. I would also run an AEM meth kit as well if i was to run a turbo. Bottom end is stock. Thanks guys!

I am not a cam expert but I would say that cam would be the largest down side but maybe others can chime in on that. If you could swap heads to lower compression ratio that would help also but there have been many guys running 6 to 8 pounds of boost on stock long blocks with just aftermarket valve springs for some time. Check out this https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...lity-list.html Sticky up top and see what some other guys have been running on stock stuff.

detonation will kill a motor very fast. I am sure you know that if you learned about the ins and outs of nitrous. You can get away with more abuse with forged internals but it is wise to take a few precautions with a stock bottom end. Get a set of 317 heads, MLS gaskets, swap in your valve train setup. That will get you into the 9's with compression ratio. Your cam is not ideal. Keep it under 10 psi and get someone who knows what they are doing to tune it. Some guys go years on similar setups and others grenade a motor in a matter of days, so be conservative.
