Oil for the turbo Ok i know this is off the subject of an f-body but i know that you guys are the best ones to ask so here it goes, i am building a turbo charged quad. I am using a t-25 off of a 95 eclipse. the quad is a 4x4 suzuki 400. Now my Q is about running the oil to the turbo? how does the turbo draw in the oil? also the turbo has an internal wastegate and it has the stock actuator spring and it runs 10psi stock, is there a way to make it run 3-5 psi, could i just put in a lighter actuator spring? all of you support and help will be greatly appriciated.
The oil pump pushes oil to the turbo center housing, and gravity would normally pull the oil out of the turbo back to the oil pan. If the turbo is above the level of the pan, I would say you could let it gravity drain.
