Need some help with my build (6.0 e85)
Need some help with my build (6.0 e85) have a 79 malibu with a a 406 sbc in it currently and th350 running 6.40's on a 150 shot. wanting to build a stock 6.0 for now and then forge it later on.the th350 will be going back in the car. here are the questions that i have.
as of now its a complete rebuilt 6.0 lq4 shortblock,stock 317 heads with .660 valve springs, and vic jr intake.
im wanting to run somewere in the 9's with 12-15psi. the car weights about 3200 with me in it so im thinking somewere around 3500 with all the turbo stuff and iron block
im going to be running e85, what size injectors do you guys recommend taking into the consideration i will be forging the complete motor later on and would like to have plenty injector once i forge the motor?
what size turbo would you guys recommend? i was leaning towards the s475 with 1.32 A/R and maybe a race cover? they sell the whole package for 1399 with turbo,wastegate and blow off valve. i really wanted to stick with a borg warner turbo to keep the cost down but i dont want a ton of lag so what do you guys think.
im running a 4150 vic jr. i havint bought an elbow yet. do you guys recommend running an elbow or maybe an accufab?
do you guys know what i can use as far as manifolds or a log that they sell for a 79 g-body malibu or would they haft to be built.
