What size exhaust housings do you have on the 76's? I'm only seeing 2-3lbs. of boost on my 76's with a 2-step. I have to be missing something or my housings are way too big for the 402 to spool.....

I have an extra synergy 2 step laying around if you are interested BTW.

lol totally the wrong thing to do with an auto trans. It sounds like your tune down low is off. We build all the boost we need with twin GT47 88 mm turbos. and those are .96 t6 frame housings. Two step will help as well. Also if your convertor is only going to 2500 on the brake you need to change that as well. If your convertor is right it will get couple up down track with more rpm and power. Our stuff is way looser than yours down low but we back half 46+ mph out the back

The Circle D's are good units also. Adding timing in the area that you are maxing the converter out you could stretch it as much as another 1000 RPM. If you you stretch it enough to give you a little more boost, it will also help it stall higher. It's like the chicken and the egg.

is that with a 2step and Tbrake? My T56 car will only build about 5psi or so with the 2step on 4500. it's all in the timing

in my dreams LOL

I'll be working on it

part of the problem is I still have road racing suspension, instead of something more drag oriented, front sway bar still on, big wheels instead of a 15" drag setup, and the car is still full weight. I don't want to sacrafice the other aspects of the car but at the same time would like to get the most out of it with what it has.

I'll be making small tweaks and go back to the track after the mile
