blown head gasket, what to replace it with?
blown head gasket, what to replace it with? So i got the truck back "together" last night in plans of racing it tonight, well while i thought i only blew an exhaust manifold gasket as it wasnt flush on the head, i found out i ended up blowing a head gasket out around cylinder 6.
Setup is a stock bottom end 5.3 with a z06 cam and 918 springs...
Was gonna go with ARP head bolts as i'd have to pull the motor in order to do studs and i dont have the time or money to do that so i was just curious as to what head gaskets you guys would suggest.
Its a stock motor so i wont be pushing much over 12-15lbs...
Any suggestions on the head gaskets? and are the ARP head bolts the ones to get?
