Shakedown pass....8.01 @ 137

1st hit on our new setup.
1.38 60' left with 4# of boost
4.9 @ 160 to the 1/8 mile
8.0 @ 137 coasting from the 1/8 mile

We had a wastegate hang open so it wouldn't make any boost down low and is why the 60' was soo far off. We also had the boost turned down 10# on this pass.

Maybe you shouldn't have sold that other Precision wastegate so soon

I think that was the 438 before it failed. I think they just got the new block this week according to his build thread in the drag racing tech section

I already have a tial hanging up front inplace of the precision. Going with what I know works.

Na, just a hurt LSx. The new Bullet will make plenty of steam. The current setup went 160mpg pretty easily with a bunch of boost pulled out and a dead lazy boost curve. We were behind 10# of boost at the 60'.

Thanks guys, I'm going to take the winter and tighten up a few small things. Should be ready to go with the new 45x ci RHS Canted Valve headed monster first of next year.
