I have a wieand 6-71 on my 400 sbc. it is a factory gm case and have spun the blower to about 8500 rpm (spinning the motor to about 7400). the blower is 12 percent overdriven and makes about 16 pounds of boost, no problems yet. your really gunna have to spin that motor to get 9000 rpms at the blower....

Thanks man! That's what i wanted to hear. I have a 327 and would like to run 10% overdrive. Now the only question is will the screaming blower drown out the open headers, only time will tell!
