Default Bare bones turbo 5.3L hp?

I know this topic's thrown around a lot, but I haven't been able to find the answer I'm looking for after two hours of searching past threads. At any rate, I have a stock LM7 I'm going to put a T76 on. How much rwhp can I expect at 7-8 psi on pump gas, without an intercooler or meth injection?

While it's a pretty common combo, most guys I've found with dyno figures have intercoolers, 317 heads, a bigger cam, and/or meth injection. I'm trying to do this as cheaply as possible and am curious what a bare bones turbo 5.3L will make hp wise. Thanks.

You can get a beefy front mount A2A off of ebay for under $200. Do it. It's not some extra luxury, you really will need it. With that, it should make somewhere around 390-420rwhp depending on other factors.

Thanks for the info. I can deal with 420 rwhp. I see lots of guys posting 500-plus rwhp with turbo 5.3s, but they usually have extra goodies (bigger cams, intercoolers, 317 heads, etc.) that's I don't plan on installing until its time for a rebuild.

You will have to have valvesprings. You may as well run 10 or so PSI with that intercooler though, and you will make up some further ground.
