It will be slower to spool but will make good power on the top end. That turbo will be capable of well over 800rwhp in that configuration. Is the car stick or auto? Street or track?

how about same scenario with a 1.25 or larger T4 a/r ? So much easier to fit in the 4th gens with a t4 side on them

T4 is expensive isnt it? I had a BW s480 with the big exhaust wheel and the 1.32 a/r exhaust on a ls1. Used a spool valve to make it work with my converter.

1.25 a/r with 87mm turbine was a little laggy as a rear mount on my car with no spool valve. With a valve it's stupid fast now that it's cooled off a bit.

Well the s380 on everyones site seems to be very expensive.

But if you look at what Jose carries you can buy a s480 for $900... then pay like $200-250 more to put a t4 side on it

I'd just leave the t6 side on it, make it fit and size the exhaust wheel and a/r correctly.
