Crankcase breater question?

I have a breather cap on the driverside rear of the valve cover and I was thinking of moving it to the front passenger side? My question is can I fit a filter on top of the black rubber housing? Will it fit under a factory Z28 hood? Does anyone ever run the breather kit that breaths into the exhaust. I have it on my 68 Camaro and it works great but that is a different monster.

I know they make a filter that fits right on that front pass side VC. I believe it is made by K&N but not sure.

The breather kit that runs to the exhaust only works well on open systems with VERY little back pressure.

If you are looking to draw a vacuum on your crankcase, try connecting a tube from the suction side of your turbo (the inlet side) to valvecover. Make sure run some form of air/oil separator or catchcan.
