Spal fans loud?

Spal fans loud? Back in May of this year I made a custom fan shroud for my Procharger setup. I am running a Spal 16" and 9" pullers. While they work very good, they are quite loud when they are running at high speed. Was wondering if that was normal?
Checked to make sure nothing was rubbing and did not notice anything since the fans are offset away from the aluminum shroud.

Reminds me of that Xtreme 4x4 show, he put a single Spal pusher on an International Harvester Scout and the fan was rediculously loud...so much so that the other scout guys were giving him hell about it. Sounded like a constant low pitched wizzing sound.
