Supercharger Cams Hi all, im after some info on supercharger cams and how they differ to N/A cams and why..
Before i start i will say my setup is not an LS based engine. But i guess that doesnt matter for the purpose of my question.
Im currently running a whipple setup running 22psi, ported heads, built stroker bottom end and the cam specs are as follows
duration @ .050": 235/238, lobe lifts: .375"/.376", valve lifts with 1.60:1 rocker arms: .600"/.601", lobe separation angle: 116, intake centerline: 112
This cam has served its purpose rather well and cant complain. Ive been wanting to raise the boost some more and was thinking if i got another cam ground to the same specs but with a longer int/exh duration.... What would i gain ?
Id also like to hear of some larger blower grinds from others and how they performed.
